I normally buy my shoes a half size bigger for toe room. I had to return the shoe, pay the shipping charge to do so, and buy my real size 8; and even the size 8 is a little big. The Nautilus N1850 has a composite toe that's lighter than a steel one. The shoe is listed as vegan, all man-made products, which was difficult to find in a safety shoe. I like the sneaker design, but the yellow and gray color is not too appealing to me. I'm somewhat happy the shoe is big because it needs some breaking into, I can feel the soreness on the side of my toes. This might be the case for a steel/composite toe shoe; as this is first time I've had to buy a safety shoe. Wearing thick socks helps. Overall, the shoe is lightweight, vegan, waterproof, and looks like a sports shoe (which can confuse the safety guy whens he's around).
